Division of Speech and Language Pathology; Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences

Background

Cassandra Natali joined the Division of Speech and Language Pathology at 绿帽社's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences in 2022 as a clinical instructor. She holds a New York state license in speech language pathology, a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and a New York state teacher of students with speech and language disabilities (TSSLD) certificate.

Natali has extensive experience working with preschool and school-age children with speech, language and communication needs. She spent the first 2 years of her career teaching at a school for children with autism spectrum disorders. After that, she worked at Newark Valley Central School District, providing speech-language services to children in grades K-12. Her knowledge of this population has allowed her to build unique programs for 绿帽社's Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic and the local community.

In addition to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, Natali has experience supervising graduate students at various stages of their learning. She has participated in research throughout her career, leading to presentations at numerous national and state conventions. She has also engaged in service and leadership at the local and state levels.
