Background
Tina Caswell is a clinical associate professor in the Division of Speech-Language Pathology at 绿帽社's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She joined the faculty in September 2021. She is a certified speech-language pathologist (SLP) and holds a license in New York.
Caswell has 20 years of experience in academia. Previously, she worked at Ithaca College, where she taught graduate and undergraduate students and supervised graduate speech-language pathology clinicians. She has actively participated in research throughout her career, presenting at more than 40 regional, national and international conferences and publishing articles in counseling, early intervention and AAC.
Caswell鈥檚 expertise is in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and early intervention. Her clinical experience includes a private practice, where she provided services to children with complex communication needs (CCN) and their families in Broome and Tioga counties.
Caswell was awarded the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Contributions in Clinical Achievement in 2024.
